This play has been supported by Migrants in Theatre and POMOC.
Migrated Kingdom of Drag
A series of workshops for immigrants who want to become drag kings and things. Aimed at diversifying the UK drag scene, the workshop took place in Liverpool; it had ten participants, who ended their work by performing at the legendary EAT ME & Preach drag cabaret night at The District. The workshops were conceived and launched in close collaboration with POMOC.
London Recalling
What do you do when you celebrate a 10 year anniversary of your emigration? Well, if you’re Rita Suszek, you do a show. And what’s more, you do a genre-bending, brain-swirling, form-melting joyride of a show. Expect to be walked through art-forms, events, gossip and the random thoughts from the artist’s brain….
“This show has listened to Bjork. This show has played in dark basements and looked at Instagram until it got overwhelmed and fizzed around until it fried its brain”.
