Snow Q - actor

Crow, Kai, Gerda - 2018 - 2020

Snow Q is a poetry play written by Maria Jastrzebska, exploring themes of isolation and depression in context of 'Snow Queen'. Initial exploration had Rita play all the roles (Gerda, Kai and Crow) in a live installation in Regency Town House Annexe in Brighton (21.12.2018.). Following that, the play went on tour in February 2020, performing in Birmigham, Brighton, London, Lewes and Portsmouth. There are also poetry films with Rita's voiceover available.

F*cking European, solo performer - 2017 - 2018

F*cking European - this solo show on the topic of European condition in Brexit Britain was premiered at Camden Comedy Club in November 2017. It then further transferred to Theatre Royal Stratford East, where it played several performances as part of Stronger Than Fear Festival in February 2018. See more here.

Fuck It, I'm Thirty, 

solo performer - 2017

Fuck It, I'm Thirty was Rita's first solo show, coinciding with their 30th birthday. A high energy comedy romp, with some poignant emotional twists, it describes an adolescence to which the artist "wouldn't go back if you paid me" and spending their twenties trying to make sense of things. Starting with Robbie Williams' "Let Me Entertain You" and proceeding to do just that! See more here.

Angry Vagina - actor - Vagina Monologues, Brighton Dome 2016

This performance of Vagina Monologues took place in the amazing Brighton Dome and was directed by Angela El-Zeind. Rita played the angry character, sharing the stage with an incredible ensemble cast. The performance was also filmed.

The Bat - Singer-Songwriter - Humanimalism, Theatre Royal Stratford East, 2015

This performance was created from songs by different songwriters, who then played particular animals/characters. The idea came from Collin Clay Chace and was directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair. Rita was part of a songwriting duo The Living Songbook at the time and performed the song commissioned by the musical, Animal Fear, dressed as a bat. Raw - actor, playwright - Girlfag, Theatre Royal Stratford East, 2015

Rita wrote a short play titled Girlfag and submitted it to Angelic Tales Festival, ran by Team Angelica. The play was accepted and Rita also played the titular character: it was presented as a scratch performance with directorial input and advice from Rikki Beadle-Blair.
